Amy Kant is a Web Producer/Designer for a television station in Milwaukee, Wis. with five years of experience working in mass media. She has a B.A. in Journalism and Mass Communication from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, where she focused on print journalism and first took an interest in online media. She is also the webmaster for The Servant’s Heart, a non-profit ministry working with the poorest of the poor in Guatemala. She first traveled to Guatemala with a church group July 2007 and returned in June 2008.
Amy currently maintains one blog, Amy Kant Designs, where she blogs about arts & crafts (mostly paper crafting) and some current events. She sells vintage ephemera by download at Fairy Davis and Friends. Amy also sells her paper craft designs on Etsy. Amy also accepts requests for custom orders. She is the Membership Development Adviser for the Beta Epsilon chapter of Alpha Gamma Delta at Carroll College and is the President of the Beta Epsilon Alumnae Chapter. Amy is also actively involved in the Milwaukee Area Junior Circle.
In her spare time, Amy enjoys playing board games, traveling, reading celebrity gossip, drinking tea, painting, making greeting cards, playing with her dogs and not taking life too seriously.
She also loves playing Guitar Hero (I, II & III) and a good glass of dry wine (or Spotted Cow).
